Volunteers Needed for Friends Annual Book Sale
The Friends of Queen Anne’s County Library will hold our Annual Book Sale on Saturday, August 27, 2016. This year, sales will be held at both the Centreville and Kent Island libraries from 9:00am to 2:00pm. The book sale is a great opportunity for people throughout the community to expand their home libraries and is a major fund-raising effort for the Friends.
The Friends are in need of volunteers to make this event as successful as possible: Opportunities are available to transport books to the libraries, to set up the pop-up book sales, to update inventory during the sale, and to help pack up after the conclusion of the sale.
